I've dedicated my career to make research possible.

My remit is at the crossroad between Education, Research, Innovation and Evaluation.

​

I have held roles in national and international organizations with particular interest in the generation of knowledge and innovation and a keen eye on the use of emerging technologies.

​

I worked in Germany at the University of Tübingen and on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Baden-Württemberg, in Luxembourg and Belgium at the European Commission first as a member of DG INSFO then as an external Expert Evaluator, in the United Kingdom at the center Cambridge Career and Advisory Center research.

Since 2012 I have been working at the University of Sassari, first in the Research Office of the Department of Human and Social Sciences then in the Strategic Projects Development Office and supporting the Rector's Office.

​

I carry out evaluation activities on behalf of the European Commission, the European Agency EACEA, the Île de France Region, the MUR, Italian regional bodies, and ANVUR, with particular interest in the evaluation of research (basic, frontier, applied), technology transfer and innovation.

​

In Italy, Germany and England I gained experience in journalism. In all the roles I have held, I have been involved in scientific dissemination and institutional and strategic communication.

My civic engagement: I have been Deputy Mayor for Economic and Strategic Development, Tourism, European Policies of the local Municipality. I am politically, socially  and culturally engaged in local and global communities.
